Following massive protests in February and general elections in October, 2014 has been a tumultuous year for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Political, economic and social grievances continue to be acute and the country’s EU membership bid remains in limbo. How can the vicious circle of stagnation, lack of reform, political conflict, and social frustration in Bosnia-Herzegovina turn virtuous ? Does the recent German-British initiative open the door to a new European policy towards the country ? What are the thorny issues that EU member states should prioritise in the coming months with regard to Bosnia and Herzegovina ? And how can the EU respond to the ongoing societal demands for change in the country and channel these grassroots energies into helping Bosnia-Herzegovina move forward ?

These and other issues will be discussed by our panel of experts. The debate and question and answer session will be chaired by Corina Stratulat, EPC Senior Policy Analyst.
